The Lady Who Went To Tea Featuring Lady V London
You might remember a few months I wrote very excitedly about the Estella Dress by Lady V London, designed by Georgina at Fuller Figure, Fuller Bust. At my birthday celebrations earlier this week I could have cried with happiness when my friends presented me with a package that contained one of them! I am SO happy to say I am now a proud Estella Dress owner and it feels good!
This morning I ran a Macmillan Coffee Morning locally to me and I used it as an excuse to wear the dress out for the first time… Well tea and cake does go perfectly with a pretty dress like this. The dress fits perfectly and I love the shape it gives my body.
I had to wear a vest to underneath to protect my modesty and I would probably usually wear it with a cream or white best top but I don’t think the black top looks bad at all! (On that note, I hear that the new out Lady V London dresses have an improved fit with a stitch on the wrap part at the front so I would be interested to try it).
The material is a lot thicker than I expected but not in a way that makes it too hot or too stiff to wear. It doesn’t have much stretch but that does mean that it ‘brings you in’ and I love the shape that this gives me. I wear the waist quite high so the length is perfect but you could easily get away with this if you were taller too!
Lady V London have just released a range of polka dot dresses in the same shape, which I would love to try especially with the extra stitch on the wrap to give a better fit.
Do you have an Estella dress? Which one is your favourite?

£10 Could Be Yours!
Tomorrow I get the honour of celebrating turning 32! To help me prepare for this beautiful, lovely feeling of old age approaching Yours Clothing have given me £10 to give away to one of you guys – YAY!
To me, Yours Clothing are another plus size brand that are doing so well at the moment. They have been to a few of the events I have been at recently (Style XL and Plus North) and it seems that they’re really listening to what customers want at the moment, which is always a good thing!
If I won £10 I’d definitely put it towards some of these great items! What would you buy?
Good luck!!

As Seen On Someone – A Look at ASOS Curve
I don’t know if it is just me, but I really feel like ASOS Curve is killing it at the moment. What I like about browsing the range of clothes at ASOS Curve is that it always feels like there is a selection of outfit types… like they’re a plus size retailer that actually recognises people like different things. From skater and swing dresses to over sized t shirts and bodycon dresses there is all sorts! I have bought a few items from ASOS over the last few weeks, some of which I haven’t worn yet and some of which I just haven’t photographed yet. New additions to my own personal ASOS Curve collection include
