The Secret To Dressing For Confidence



When it comes to clothing, we all have different opinions on how it makes us feel. And that’s only
natural. You can even feel differently about different items of clothing at different times too.
Sometimes, you put something on and feel so confident. But if you’re having a bad day, you can put the
same thing on and feel like rubbish. However, it’s so important for you to take control of your clothing.

Fashion and clothes and dressing up and shopping should be enjoyable. And it should make you feel
confident. It’s not something that you should stress out about or worry about. If you ever get dressed and
feel bad about how you look or even feel in the clothing, then it’s time to do something about it.
Because your clothing can (and should) make you feel confident! And here’s how to do it.


1. Work With Your Shape


The first secret to take on board here, is all about your shape. No matter what shape you are, you really
have to make sure that you’re dressing for it. It’s not good enough to just try and cover up or hide away!
You need to really show off what you’ve got. Plus, you will find that if you start to wear things that fit your
body shape and show off your shape, there's nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to your body
so don't think you need to go around wearing flattering, or baggy clothes. Own what you wear and things
will be much better!


2. What Size Are You?


As a step on from that, you really do need to make sure that you’re wearing the right size too. Don’t just
assume! And definitely don’t go up a size so that you feel you can hide in your clothing. As you won’t feel
great about it. Make sure that you get something that fits you perfectly, as it will not only be more
comfortable, but you’ll look better too. By right size, this means ignore clothing labels and what what you
feel good in and what is comfortable. Ignore clothing labels because you'll often be surprised by what fits
when you didn't expect it to!




3. Wear Heels


Now, here’s a HUGE tip for you. Whenever you can and whenever the mood suits, wear heels.
Wearing heels is such a great way to boost your confidence. However, really it is about being comfortable
so if heels are going to make you miserable, it's okay to skip them and wear something else you prefer.


4. Dress Up


You may feel like you need confidence to be able to dress up, but it’s actually the other way around!
When you wear occasion wear and more formal clothing, it automatically makes you feel confident.
So if you want to dress up a little more every day, do it for the sake of your confidence!


5. Be Happy With How You Dress


But most importantly of all, you have to be really happy with how you dress. If you wear things that you
don’t really like. Or if you feel pressured into wearing a style that your friends do, it’s safe to say that you
may not really be feeling your best at all times. And that kind of sucks! Instead, you should make decisions
on the clothing you wear based on how you feel. If you love how you feel in something, then wear it. This
is the true secret behind dressing for confidence and feeling great.
