Shine Bright Like A... Pineapple?!

I have raved about Black Heart Creatives  before, and I will no doubt rave about them again! They bought out the infamous Fat Bitch necklace (Note to self, yours is broken you need to buy another) and a whole range of other amazing jewellery pieces.

Charlotte at Black Heart Creatives kindly offered to send me a piece from their new summer collection and how could I resist? She contacted me before the collection was released so I had no idea what to expect - instead I just asked for 'the biggest necklace you have' and she did not disappoint!

If anyone had told me that last weekend I would have been going out around Blackpool with a giant shiny pineapple dangling from my neck I would have laughed at them - but that is exactly what I did! It's a lovely shiny gold colour and just the right size to make a lovely statement - I love it! MORE SHINY JEWELLERY PLEASE!!

Got my fat arms out and survived - who'd have thought it!? ;)

The Palm Bling Collection by Black Heart Creatives has lots of lovely items in it so whatever you like to wear, there will be something to suit! Personally the pineapple is my favourite, but the pink flamingo is quite good too!

Fancy one for yourself? Use the Code 'Deb20' to get yourself 20% off of anything on the website and is valid for a week - GO GO GO!
Which piece is your favourite?

Pink To Make The Boys Wink

There is a possibility I have used that title before - oops! Anyway, have you seen the latest offerings by Pink Clove? I blogged a few weeks back about their new items and they seem to be just going from strength to strength! One thing I love about Pink Clove is their bold colours and the fact that aren't afraid to use bright prints and patterns - Well Done Pink Clove!

They offered to send me an item from their new collection and of course, I chose the brightest dress that I could - the Sweet Heart Neckline Pink Skater Dress. It's quite a thick material but I like that because it pulls you in a little and feels supportive. I wore this to see McBusted last week and it was so comfortable to wear all day!

They also have a similar dress without the sweet heart neck line if that is a style you would prefer. They also have both types of dresses in a range of colours (including a gorgeous rush orange colour) all for under £25 each.

It feels like great quality and washed well when I put it through a wash. It is a great fit and pretty much spot on for sizing I would say!

Of course I couldn't resist teaming it up with my pink Black Heart Creatives necklace, which I think matches perfectly!

Have you bought anything from the new Pink Clove range?

Live Fast Die Yum!

You will see Black Heart Creatives jewellery crop up on quite a few of my blog posts, I absolutely adore their items! When they tweeted a few weeks ago to give people the chance to review something from their new range I was SO excited!

They very kindly sent me this beautiful pink doughnut necklace from their new Live Fast Die Yum collection and I love it. Of course considering you're combining cake and statement jewellery it isn't much of a surprise that I am a fan! They have a few items in the range including a hot dog and a rather funky looking bar of chocolate amazing!

As ever the jewellery is high quality and it is very much a welcomed piece to my collection!

They have kindly given me the chance to give something to you too!! Simply use the code 'Princess25' and you'll get 25% off of any purchase that you make from their site within the next 7 days - YAY!

If you're tempted then let me know what you buy!

Skater Girl Indulges

I know I rant quite a lot about body image issues, but as a BBW blog I feel it is important to also bring you plus size bargains and clothes that I like. I know that as a self-confessed fat chick it can be hard to fit clothes you like, that fit, that you can actually afford.

One of my new-found faves is ASOS Curve. I know I am quite late to the party with this website, but I really am loving everything that they have on offer at the moment.

Last week I picked up this bargain of a grey skater dress and decided to wear it to Club Indulge on Saturday.

Skater Dress With Sweetheart Neckline And Short Sleeve

I really like the fit of the dress and the fact that it is long enough to wear without leggings - although it would look pretty funky teamed up with leggings. That is the beauty of a dress like this, the choice is yours! I found it very flattering around the bust and it was more than comfortable to wear all night. I bought a size down from my usual size and it still fit fine. For just £15.00 in their current ASOS Curve sale, it really is a must have for any wardrobe. Get yours here

I teamed it up with my other new found love - a necklace from Black Heart Creatives. I have three of these now - I'll blog about my other favourite necklace another time. I got comments on my necklace all night long, with loads of other ladies wanting to get their hands on one!

I wore the outfit to Club Indulge - which is a relatively new plus size party that was held in London Bridge. Held in champagne bar right next to the Hilton Hotel the summer mixer event did threaten to be ruined by rain but actually the 4th Club Indulge was quite possibly my favourite one yet. The next one is at the end of August and if you haven't been to one before, I would recommend it!

The night did get a bit blurry - I blame the wine!
Dress: ASOS Curve
Shoes: Primark
Belt: Yours Clothing (old season)
Necklace: Black Heart Creatives

What did you get up to this weekend?
