Some Great Destinations To Visit Next Year

It’s always good to look forward to something. With summer behind us, it helps to start
planning your travel adventures for next year. That way, the cold winter months don’t have to
feel quite as tough; you can remind yourself that you’re getting closer and closer to next summer.

But where should you go for your next trip? Well, here are some great destinations to visit next year.

The skyline of modern-day Barcelona comprises of both contemporary skyscrapers and traditional architectural masterpieces. The city is proud of its history and culture, but it still embraces the future.

Barcelona, Spain.
A trip to Spain is well worth it. And if you’re looking for a particular part of this country to explore,
then Barcelona is a great option. It’s an absolutely beautiful city. If you’re looking for an exciting
destination to visit on your travels, then this should be at the top of your list. It’s an incredibly
creative and energetic place. You can thank Gaudi for that. He revolutionised the design of this
marvellous city a century ago, and his work can still be appreciated today. His colourful designs
feature throughout the streets of the city. But his greatest work is still under construction today.
How many future artists will be able to say that of their creations? This is in reference, of course,
to the Sagrada Familia. This breathtaking cathedral is an architectural masterpiece even in its
half-completed state. Hopefully, it’ll be finished within the next decade or so. Still, you’ll be able
to appreciate it in its current state. It’s beautiful.

Singapore.
Another great destination to visit next year is Singapore. This island city-state is extraordinary.
You might have visited megacities before, but this is in a league of its own. It’s both a city and a
country rolled into one. Skyscrapers cover the streets as far as the eye can see. The fantastic
Marina Bay Sands resort is definitely worth visiting, first. Even if you’re not a fan of gambling,
seeing these incredible buildings is an experience in itself. Have you ever seen three skyscrapers
with a ship perched on top of them? Well, you will if you visit this resort. There’s even an infinity
pool on top.

Singapore is a huge place. You might even want to get a holiday home there if you plan on
visiting it over and over again (and you certainly will plan on doing that). You could look into getting
an executive condominium. That could be a nice little home away from home.

There’s so much to explore on this massive island - one trip won’t be enough. There’s more to this
city than skyscrapers. You should visit the Gardens by the Bay. You can stroll along walkways
connecting huge tree-like structures in the middle of a gigantic garden. It’s a garden unlike
any other.

The Eiffel Tower is an iconic landmark that still dominates the skyline, even in
the face of modern skyscrapers that have risen in Paris’ financial district. It’s
an integral part of Parisian and French culture.

Paris, France.
Paris is one of the world’s most famous cities. Take a look at the picture above. Who wouldn’t be
able to identify that structure? The Eiffel Tower is an architectural marvel. And it’s one of the main
reasons as to why so many tourists flock to the city every year. People want to see this
fantastic landmark in person. If you think it looks impressive in photographs, you’ll be truly
astounded when you see it in real-life. It’s not just aesthetically captivating - there’s also a
wonderful Michelin-starred restaurant on the second floor. So, if you’re looking for a bite to
eat in one of the most famous landmarks on the planet, then this is the place to go.
The views are incredible, too, obviously.

Still, Paris is more than the Eiffel Tower. The capital city has so much to offer.

Other iconic landmarks are worth visiting, for starters, even if they’re not quite as famous
the Eiffel Tower. The Arc de Triomphe is a visually stunning and historically significant
structure that you certainly need to admire. It stands proudly at the centre of a busy
roundabout. That perfectly summarises this landmark; it has survived many historical events.
It endures, and that’s why it’s so important to the city of Paris. Of course,
if you want to go further than landmarks, you should explore some of Paris’ art galleries.
The Musee de Louvre is an iconic building that’s home to the Mona Lisa.

3 Sure Fire Ways To Boost Your Confidence

You never know who may be lacking in confidence. People who struggle with their self esteem don’t always shy away from social situations, and may appear like the life and soul of every party they go to. While they may appear outwardly confident, they could be feeling acutely scared inside. If this sounds like you, you don’t have to suffer in silence or resign yourself to the fact that things will never change. You need to be proactive and look for ways that will boost your confidence. While confidence is a hugely personal thing, one of these three ideas might inspire you to give your confidence a boost.

Write Things Down

Some people aren’t the talkative type. While people say a problem shared is a problem halved, for some the mere thought of opening up to someone is panic inducing. Instead, consider writing things down. You could do this old school with a pen and paper, or you might like to find your own little patch of the Internet and start a blog. Your blog doesn’t have to be money making, it just needs to be a safe haven for your thoughts. Get yourself some decent hardware, and begin writing. If you have a Mac, look at how to update Mac OS Catalina so you have the fastest and easiest operating system to use. For Windows, ensure you have the 2019 platform. Enjoy writing down your ideas, worries, thoughts and rants if it helps. Before long, you may find people in the same boat commenting on your posts. This can make you feel like you’re not alone.

Do Something New

Sometimes we lack confidence because we feel stuck in a rut. If that’s you, then change things up a little bit. Forget getting in after work to watch TV every night and do something more worthwhile with your time. Head out for dinner with pals, take up a new hobby or enjoy pottering about in the garden. If you fancy trying out a martial art, sign up for a free session. If the gym appeals, get a basic membership and give it a go. Or if you have always wanted to learn Spanish, head to an evening class. Your free time can be as full and as satisfying as you make it. As you meet new people, and make new friends, your confidence will grow.

Get A New Look

While it’s a little cliched, getting a new haircut, heading to a spa or changing your wardrobe can boost your confidence. If you’ve had the same long bob for a decade, go shorter. It can be freeing and liberating to make people’s heads turn for all the right reasons. Your friends and family will begin paying you compliments which can help you stand with your shoulders back and boost your confidence.

If you are naturally shy, or struggle in social situations, don’t allow this to be a hindrance to you. Take things slowly, invite a pal along with you to anything new, and enjoy experimenting with your image. Use these ideas to inspire a new confident you.

Should You Discuss a Marriage Proposal?

Talking about marriage before getting married is a smart thing to do. The majority of couples
discuss marriage before getting engaged. However, the proposal is another matter. Should you
talk about the proposal and what you want it to be or leave it as a complete surprise? If you
choose to talk about it, is there any point in it happening?

The Pros

There are some benefits to talking about your expectations for a proposal. Firstly, you can both
make sure you get what you want. Maybe you both want to propose to each other. Maybe you
don't want to bother with rings. Perhaps you want a fancy affair, or just a quiet and private
moment. It sets your expectations, which is great if you don't like surprises. Being so practical
might not be for everyone, but perhaps you're a practical couple. You can create a moment that
you both love. Many people discuss possible engagement rings, so discussing the proposal is
only a small step further.

The Cons

There could be some downsides to discussing a proposal too. It removes the element of
surprise, except for if you don't agree on exactly when the proposal will happen. A completely
surprise proposal is what you might want, especially if you're hoping for something
truly romantic. It might also make the proposal seem pointless. If you've already agreed
on marriage, perhaps a proposal won't seem necessary.

Discussing your proposal in advance could be a good idea or it might not be. Whatever you do,
think about what the perfect proposal might entail.

Get a Step Closer to Finding Your Perfect Partner

Dating can be a minefield, and if you have been single for a little while, it is easy to start feeling jaded
by the whole process and giving up hope of ever meeting someone new. Of course, just because you
feel like that doesn’t mean that it will be the case. You don’t need to be a certain age to find love,
a specific type or a certain anything in fact; it’s just that sometimes it can take a little while to meet the right
erson. However, there are ways of maximising your chances of meeting someone just right for you.

Establish What You Want

If you have had relationships in the past, you probably have a pretty clear picture in your mind of what you
want from a relationship and what you don’t want!

Take some time to think about whether you want something casual such as you find through
w4m maps or something more serious and long term. Knowing what you want from your
relationships can help you to feel less confused about what you are looking for and help to get rid of that
unsettled feeling of not knowing which direction you are headed in.

Relish Your Independence

Yep, you are looking for your perfect partner, and yes, you have now established how you would ideally
like that relationship to look, but don’t forget to take a step back. Take the time to focus on yourself,
take care of yourself and appreciate yourself just as you are. Dating isn’t mandatory for happiness,
and there’s no reason why you can’t be happy and content while not in a relationship.

Enjoy the opportunities that being single brings, please yourself with the things you do and the

places that you go, without having to compromise to suit someone else.

Ironically, when focusing on yourself rather than searching for future partners at every opportunity,
the chances are that you may meet someone. When you are not actively looking for love, and are
happy being yourself and taking care of yourself, you may meet someone that’s just perfect for you
when you least expect it.

Widen Your Circle

Widening your social circle and your interests is a great thing to do on many levels. If you are trying to
find a partner, you are unlikely to do so by being sat in your living room watching box sets every evening.
Getting out and about to meet new people is going to increase your chances of meeting a potential
partner, and is also a great way of making new friends too.

Why not take an evening class in a subject that you are interested in and have wanted to study for a long
time. Alternatively, you could take up a new hobby or sport. Taking up new interests in subjects or
sports that you are attracted to, will mean that you will meet new people with the same interests as
you, which is always a bonus when looking for a future partner.

Is it Necessary to Sterilise Baby Bottles?

Unless your water supply is not reliably clean, sterilising baby bottles after every use is not necessary. There is no need to sterilise something that is already safe. However, it is important to sterilise baby bottles before using them for the first time, and that also applies to any other baby feeding gear like sippy cups. Therefore, sterilise the bottles before using. After that, a high number of paediatricians agree that a thorough scrubbing with hot soapy water or a dishwasher will do a great job of getting rid of the germs in the bottles and nipples. If you use a dishwasher, put the baby bottles in the topmost rack to prevent them from melting and place the nipples and other small parts in a basket.

Sterilising your baby’s bottles once in a while is not a bad idea, particularly if your child has fallen ill. Some parents opt for special bottle sterilisers, but they are not really necessary, because soaking the bottles in a pot full of clean, boiling water for some few minutes does a great job too.

How to Clean a Baby Bottle after a Feed
Cleaning baby bottles thoroughly is necessary to prevent your baby from getting sick due to germs. To clean thoroughly you will need:
·         A bottle brush to help you clean the inner part of the bottle well
·         A large pot for boiling water.
·         Soap
Procedure
·         Start by washing your hands with some soap and water first and dry them well.
·         Rinse the baby bottle, nipple and other small parts with cold water right after feeding the baby.
·         Wash the bottle and nipple thoroughly with soap and hot water.
·         A bottle brush will help you to clean all the inside parts of the bottle well.
·         Turn the nipple inside out to remove milk residue, and squirt out the water via the holes.
·         Finally, rinse the bottle and nipple in clean, hot water (don’t use soap)
·         Shake off any excess water, put back the nipple and lids back on the bottle, and place it in a clean, dry place.

How to Sterilise a Baby Bottle Using the Boiling Method
There are different ways of sterilising bottles, and boiling is one of them. This is how you can sterilise your baby’s bottles by boiling:
·         Place the baby bottles, nipples, and other baby feeding gear into a large pot
·         Add cold tap water into the pot and ensure that all the pieces are fully covered with water and no air bubbles are present.
·         Cover the pot with a lid, bring the water to a boil, and let it boil for 5 minutes.
·         You should allow the water to cool before you take out the feeding gear.
·         Shake off any excess water, place the nipples and lids back on the bottles, and keep all the equipment in a clean, dry place.

There are loads of different places to find baby equipment for cleaning and sterilising, but for more information on this I would check out the baby section on StarWalkKids.com, which has thorough reviews of baby stuff, including baby bottle reviews.

In Summary
Sterilising baby bottles and other feeding equipment is necessary before you use the equipment for the first time. After that, this is not necessary unless your water supply is suspected to be contaminated. Cleaning the bottles in a dishwasher or with hot, soapy water is sufficient to keep them free of germs.
