It Hasta Be Asda

A few weeks ago I wrote about the exciting news that George at Asda had decided to extend their plus size range up to a size 32! You can read that here. The range itself isn't revolutionary and it won't cause headlines but it is pretty amazing! For me, any range that is affordable, accessible and up to a size 32 is great news - and I only hope that this range sets the bar & more high street places follow suit.

The lovely people at George at Asda were kind enough to send me a few pieces to try and I have to say I am really impressed. The dresses were both less than £15 and the leggings were less than a tenner - it doesn't get much better than that, does it?

I love the quality of the items. I have actually worn both of the dresses loads of times in the weeks that I have had them and they have been washed - they're still looking good and the colours are still great. The leggings are really nice too. They are a little long for me, but I am very short so that is often the case! They are perfect tucked into boots which is ideal for this time of year too!

The range itself seems to have a few new items being added here and there, so it is definitely one to keep an eye on!

Have you bought anything from George?

I was lucky enough to be gifted some items in this post and I am very grateful, but I am always open and honest in my reviews!

By George They've Done It!

Look at this dress, pretty isn't it? As dresses go it isn't massively revilutionary but let me tell you this - IT COSTS JUST £14!!! For people who can fit into Primark and other high street budget brands this is nothing spectacualr but the fact that Asda now do this dress, for less than £15 right up to a size 32 is amazing for me.

Over the past few weeks, a few beady eye bloggers have noticed at the George at Asda plus size range has been slowly adding items right up to a size 30-32. Yes, the items are pretty standard high street fashionn but what good news! I can only hope that these will be stocked in store so I can pick up a new dress at the same time as a pick up my milk, something that many people of a smaller size take for granted. If you spot these items in store let me know!

The items might not be screaming 'look at me', but WOW a high street (hopefully!) range that is cheap, easily accessible and right up to a size 32 definitely gets the thumbs up from me. Hopefully they'll extend past floral and butterfly print once they seen it is a range that is really needed! Of course, I would love to see as many items for sale in a size 32 as they have in a 24, but small steps at a time. Have you looked at the range? What do you think?

I'm hoping to get some of the items to try and review, keep your eyes peeled!

George High Summer 2014 Offerings

Today I was lucky enough to be invited to the press day for the brand new George at Asda offerings for the summer season. Sometimes it can be hard to know what you'll get at these events which aren't specifically catering to plus size, but it was great to see what they're going to be offering this summer.

The one thing I loved about what they showed is colour. There are some amazing, vibrant prints coming out in the new George collection and that is something that really excites me. Even if the clothes don't go to my size (I keep meaning to try their skater dresses as everyone says they're very generous) their accessories were fabulous!

Of course - I took loads of pics for you all, so you can have a sneaky peak too!

And don't forget I am shopping my wardrobe - so here is a dress I don't wear nearly enough from Yours Clothing! Forgot how much I like it!

What clothes are you looking forward to wearing this summer?
