Whether you rent your property or you own it, the one thing you want to be able to do is to make that house feel like home. Decorating your home is all about personal style – but here are some tips
Think About Accessories
Accessorising your home is definitely one of the best ways to make it feel yours & inject a little personality. The great thing about accessories is that most of them are temporary – so easily removed if you have to move out, which is particularly a good choice for tenants. Coloured rugs, cosy cushions, nice shelving units can all make a difference to how your house looks and feels.
Consider Some Art on the Walls
Displaying art on the walls is a great way of decorating without permanently changing the walls. The great thing about wall art is that there are so many types to choose from – which makes it perfect for any room in the house. It’s particularly a good choice for kids bedrooms, where you can simply change the wall art for something else as they grow up and their tastes change – a bit more difficult to do with things like wallpaper.

Photo were kind enough to send me some of their canvas prints to try & I have to say, the quality of them is amazing. I have a few canvas prints on display in my house & have bought them for friends before but these ones had such vibrant colours; they were really great!

Gadgets
Although gadgets might not fall strictly under the decorating category, they’re certainly something that should be considered when it comes to improving your home – high-quality blenders, Alexa Dot, a radio for the shower – all things that can make a difference in how it feels at home and contribute to your happiness while you’re there – which is exactly what you want from the place you live.
Photowall has been kind enough to give me a discount code for you guys. You’ll get 20% off their products before the 23rd of October 2022 using ‘wannabeprincess20’; how exciting!
If you have any tips for decorating your home I would love you to share them
