Women’s rugby is on the up and up. In 2023 there were 43 teams playing in the Women’s Rugby League, not bad considering in 2014 there were only 14. In fact, it’s soon going to be a requirement for men’s teams to also have a women’s team if they want to get a top-grade licence for the sport.
