When Life Goes Back To Normal Thanks to Covid Tests – I don’t want to write a post to dwell on the last 12 months, but instead, talk about what I am looking forward to now that we’re allowed to starting enjoying life like we used to and hopefully with restrictions continuing to ease. There is no doubt that there have been some major game-changers that have played a big part in this – face masks and Covid test kits are probably not things that we would all consider regular items but we’re all very familiar with them now! I am thankful for the likes of Covid tests and what they’re going to help me be able to enjoy once again.
What I’m Looking Forward To When Life Goes Back To Normal Thanks to Covid Tests
Seeing My Family
Although I have lived away from my family for a good few years now, I usually see them at least a few times a year so only being able to see them once since 2019 is a massive deal. I realise that I am lucky to have been able to see them as not everyone has been so lucky; but not seeing them when I wanted to has been tough – especially doing socially distanced birthdays and missing out on mums Christmas dinner. My niece will soon be three and she’s growing quicker than I could ever have imagined so I can’t wait to see her. I am praying that things continue in the way they have been and I can see them all this summer.
Pub Lunch
I’m a simple girl, I just want to sit in a grubby Wetherspoons and order a Pepsi and curry for £7 using the app! It’s the simple things isn’t it? My boyfriend loves an all-day breakfast and they always have one on their menu so we often go there for a quick lunch or evening meal. Back in the day it would have been for a cheap bottle of wine and some jagerbombs but we all have to grow up sometimes.
Catching Up With Friends
Thanks to blogging, social networking and moving around a lot I have friends dotted around all over the place, so of course seeing them recently has been a no go. I am so excited to be able to make plans to see everyone again and just catch up on life.
Seeing Everyone Else Enjoy Themselves
I know that everyone has struggled in their own ways over the last year, so I am really looking forward to seeing people enjoy themselves again. My social media has already started to be littered with pictures of picnics in the park and BBQs in the garden, and although I am so very jealous I know how much it means to be able to get back to normal. So I am watching from afar and knowing how happy they must be.
I am so glad that the development of things like vacinees and Covid tests means that we can all go back to normal, I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2021 brings for us all – here’s hoping it’s only good things!
