Fathers Day Gift Guide – Can you believe it’s June already? How did that happen! As well as a sign that better weather is coming, this month is also Fathers Day. I know that shopping for gifts can be tough, especially if you’re still not visiting family and need something that you can post – I thought I would share a few ideas with you in the Fathers Day Gift Guide.
Something Practical – A Watch Winder
When I was offered the chance to try one of these I was so curious as to what it would be like. I know that this type of gift isn’t for everyone – but what an amazing and thoughtful gift for the right person. The idea behind these watch winders is that they give you somewhere to secure your wind up watch, without allowing it to go flat. The technology behind it includes multiple rotation settings and an ultra-quiet Japanese motor, so it’s a really good present for the right person.

Something to Read – A Dad Joke a Day

I was recently sent this A Dad Joke a Day book and it’s hilarious! There is nothing that most dads like more than telling a ‘good’ dad joke – this book has over 300 of them, a whole year worth in fact! This will make a really fun present and it’s currently on Amazon for less than £8 so really affordable too!
Something Tasty – Chocolate
Green and Blacks have some amazing gifts this year – this one comes in a super cute basket as well. I love the selection of different flavours in this, with something that is bound to suit the tastes of even the fussiest dads!

Something To Do Together – Build
This might be cheating a bit, as it is also something that tastes good, but how fun does this look? Cadburys have a really decent selection of Fathers Day Chocolates this year too; but I thought this was lovely as something you can do with dad – and you get a tasty reward at the end, win-win!

Something That Smells Good – Aftershave
Aftershave can be expensive, especially if you have a dad with expensive tastes! However, The Fragrance World have some really good scents;l which are sent to be the real deal but without the hefty price tag. This one is an alternative to Hugo Boss, Boss – and I have to say, it’s pretty spot on! They do female fragrances too; so you could treat yourself while you’re at it!

Something For The Kitchen – Garlic Press
I am a fan of practical gifts and although a garlic press might not seem like the most glamourous; it is something that every kitchen needs. This one allows you to press each way, which means that you get as much garlic as possible out of each clove and there is less mess to clean up afterwards!
Something for Brand New Dads
If this is dads first time being a daddy on Father’s Day then you’ll want to start looking for dad and baby gifts. Places like The Baby Hamper Company make life really easy with a range of already made up hampers – so you can give an amazing gift with minimal effort, what a great idea!
