Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to watch Russells International Circus while they were local to me and I have to say we had a great time! If you have read my content before or seen my social channels, you’ll know that as a family we are big circus fans.
Russells International Circus Review – A Key Summary

Big Top Atmosphere – Super fun and high energy, everyone was in a good mood and enjoyed the show. Vibrant lighting, great soundtrack and plenty of hosts keeping things high-energy.
Standout Acts – I don’t want to give away too much because it’s definitely a show to be enjoyed, but there are so many good acts – definitely keep an eye out for the Robin Hood feature in the middle, so fun!
Show Runtime & Pacing – Lasts approximately 2 hours (including a 15-minute interval).

Seating – What To Expect
I didn’t ask or look for any particular accessible seating, so if that is something you feel you might require, then contact them and ask what the possibilities are. Standard seating on the ring was tight, but I found it comfortable. I also found that the actual session we attended wasn’t packed full, so being able to find an aisle seat without someone being sat the other side of me wasn’t a struggle.

The Show Itself
This is without a doubt one of the best circus shows I have attended – and I have been to very many! The whole feel of the show felt like a show you would see at the theatre combined with traditional circus acts, so it was super fun! I don’t want to give away too much about the different acts that are on, because the surprise element is worth it! The clown is super fun and the interactions with the crowd were playful and full of joy; it really bought the whole show together.

Good Old Fashioned Family Fun
I loved seeing how many families were there enjoying their evening. There were photo ops, light up toys to buy and traditional circus snacks to enjoy. It made the whole evening feel so wholesome and fun. They have a few dates left for 2026 and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for when they announce their 2027 dates too!
