Today is pretty bright and sunny here, but absolutely freezing – I know that plenty of you have snow, so I hope that isn’t causing too much mayhem where you are! Today I’m writing to you about another Daddilife book, which I have recently been given the chance to review once again.
You may well have seen a review or two of some of Daddlife’s previous books, they’re such a light relief in a world that sometimes feels like it is filled with doom and gloom, so when he told me he was publishing a new one I wanted to share it all with you. If you know me then you’ll know that I am a fan of silly humour – those silly nonsense jokes that aren’t deep and meaningful but instead bring a smile to your face just because of how cheesy they are! It seems like Daddlife is a fan of this type of humour too; as his books definitely tick those boxes! His latest – A Knock Knock Joke a Day is out now on Amazon and is only £6.99, bargain!

Counting the Good Days
December is one of those months where you feel obliged to have a good time because it’s Christmas, but actually, it’s mostly cold, dark and expensive! This year I am lucky enough to have an amazing Body Shop advent calendar to open every day so I decided that I am going to be counting the good days in December – which will be all of them! As well as opening the calendar each day I am going to check out a cheesy joke or two from the book, just to start the day with a smile.
As you might imagine I have already flicked my way through some of the pages in the book and it’s brilliant. Of course, I couldn’t resist a sneak peek at what my birthday has in store – and it did not disappoint!

I don’t want to give away too many of the jokes and spoil, but if you’re into Knock Knock jokes then this book is a must – in fact, it would make a pretty decent stocking filler too if you’re Christmas shopping! It even has a section that tells you how to deliver a Knock Knock joke, great for anyone that wants to brush up on their joke telling skills!

If you’re like me and love a good cheesy joke I’d love you to share your favourites below!
