Let’s be honest here; who doesn’t love a dad joke? My dads ‘best’ one is probably “Call me an ambulance”… “you’re an ambulance”…. you have to laugh don’t you? That’s why when I was sent some information on a brand new A Dad Joke A Day book, I had to check it out!
The book is the brainchild of fellow blogger DaddiLife who has been creating content about modern-day fatherhood for 5 years, no doubt getting a few laughs along the way with the odd dad joke here and there. When he invited me to check out the book I was immediately excited, I might not be a dad but I can appreciate a cringe joke as much as the next person! The book is great – it literally has a joke for every day of the year! As well as hints on how to tell a joke and what makes a good one. What more could you need?
I had some new garden chairs delivered from Argos yesterday and managed to pick up a really good blender from Marketplace, so today is spent living my best life. I’ve made homemade slushies, I’m sat in the sun and now I have a good book to browse through too.
I think it’s one of those books that are good to pick up, flick to a random page and have a chuckle… I have just done that and the jokes that cover the start of August on page 120 are just the right amount of cringe – perfect!
The Perfect Sunny Day Book
It’s so sunny today I hope you’re able to get out and enjoy some of it; I’ve come inside as it’s just a bit too hot and we all know my history with sunburn – I’ll definitely be back out in it later though!
If you ask me, it would make a great Fathers Day gift – but who says you need an excuse to buy it? It’s only £8 on Amazon and that has to be good value for money when it comes to having a few chuckles.
