I wanted to share something different with you today – a mixture of the feel good factor and tasty treats; what could be better?
You all know that I am a fan of all things unusual when it comes to food – I love unusual snacks, I enjoy buying things and not knowing what will arrive and generally trying new things! I’ve blogged before about the international snack swaps I have taken part in and later on today I am picking up a Greggs To Good To Go Order. If it’s possible for food to be a hobby, then it’s definitely mine.
I have been a fan of Lils Parlour for ages now – placing orders when she does her much-anticipated postage boxes and lusting over the counter when she’s open on a Saturday and dreaming of a day when I can pop up to Birmingham for a visit!
Something a Little Different
Having chatted a little to Lucy & a shared love of 90s boybands, I wasn’t surprised when she launched her Pay as You Can Happiness Project. The idea behind the project is that she can open up her bakery AND TRAVEL AROUND THE COUNTRY to offer her amazing baked goods with no price tag – rather a Pay as You Can initiative. I am in a lucky position where I can afford to spend a little on frivolous treats, but I love the idea that Lils Parlour will make this possible for more people.
Her Crowdfunder has a week to go and is just over 50% of the way to target – I don’t usually ask for money or donations, but I really love this project and would love it if you could just spare £1 to help her out.
On top of that – there are some amazing rewards if you’re able to pledge a little more – parties in Birmingham, puddings delivered directly to your door and even some of her AMAZING Wagonish Wheels up for grabs.
I know not everyone will be in a position to donate, but even following her on Instagram, interacting with her posts and showing some support can really make all the difference to getting this project off the ground!
