Tips For Dating  – Although we’re starting to see an ease in restrictions, it is still against guidelines to go out and meet new people. Gone are the days (hopefully just for now!) where people can meet up in the pub for a few drinks or pop to the cinema to watch a film. This means that dating can be tough, even in a relationship we’re running out of things to do and countryside we can walk
in! However, tough doesn’t need to mean no dating at all, it just means that you need to be savvier! Here are some tips for dating during lockdown.

Of course, it would not be wise to meet up with strangers currently and especially unwise to do this without social distancing measures in place – but why not do some online dating now, ready for when you can get out and about again!

I met my boyfriend online so I’ll always be an advocate for online dating, in the correct and safe manner. If you’re stuck indoors why not spend time chatting online to some new people? Getting to know them now means that you’ll already know them quite well by the time restrictions are over and you’ll feel better about meeting them.

There are lots of different dating and hook-up sites out there. So whether you want to join Plenty of Fish, Tinder or www.buckinghamsexsite.co.uk there should be a site for you. So head on over to somewhere like a London sex site and get chatting to some new people.

Chatting to someone online is great and once you feel comfortable you can swap contact details and even start to talk on the phone. This is really fun and I loved getting to know my boyfriend in this way. That said, if you’re doing this you might want to keep things interesting – especially if lockdown stays for a few weeks!

Video chat is a really good way to get to know people and can be really fun. You get to see a lot more about peoples mannerisms and how they are as a person if you’re talking on the phone.  You can even do things like choose dinner and cook together or order take away at the same time. In fact, Netflix even lets you set up films to watch together over video chat if you wish!

You can also do other fun activities to get to know people. Why not quiz each other on your likes and dislikes? You can set challenges for each other or find riddles to quiz each-other one. With online dating currently, it might be longer than usual before you can actually meet up with someone.

However, rather than feel disappointed in this – use it to your advantage. With the pressure off to meet up, you can spend time chatting to someone and getting to know them properly. Moving at a slower pace means you can really get to know so much more about a person!
