With Fathers Day just around the corner, you definitely won’t be alone if you’re wondering what to buy. If the men in your life are anything like the men in my life, they’re pretty impossible to buy for at the best of times. In the past I have found that practical Father’s Day gifts are often a good choice – here are some options:
Tools
Tools can be an excellent gift for the right person – although if they’re anything like my partner they can be quite particular about the tools that they like & want to use. If you’re not 100% sure of the tools they like and/or need then a voucher for somewhere like Tool Station or Screwfix could be a more sensible choice. In general, I’m not the biggest fan of giving vouchers for presents, unless they’re for something specific but for this, I feel that ensuring that they can buy something they’re actually going to get use out of is more important.
Shoes
We were recently sent these Adidas trainers (they’re Adidas Originals Continental 80 Trainers)for my partner to try out for size – and I think they’d actually make a really great Father’s Day gift. Shoes and in particular trainers are something that people are going to get use out of, even if they already own lots of footwear. With Adidas Originals footwear there are so many different styles and sizes that you can be sure there is going to be something to suit the person you want to buy for. Of course, there are plenty of brands to choose from when it comes to footwear but I feel that Adidas are one of those reliable brands that everyone has heard of so it’s a pretty safe choice when buying for someone else.

Personal Care
Grooming is always a nice present – and something that most dads can make use out of. Some nice shower gel or a decent shaver could go down well – and helps to ensure that whatever your Father’s Day budget is there is going to be something that suits you and your purse! You probably know what products the father-figure in your life likes so that is a great place to start when it comes to buying something you know they are going to appreciate.
If you have any ideas for practical Father’s Day gifts then I would love for you to share them!
