A pool table is not the most feminine of things but why isn’t it? Who says that I can’t enjoy a fun game of pool with my friends and family whilst wearing my favourite pretty dress and a nice cool glass of rose? Nobody that’s who. I’ve recently been looking at a stunning pool table by Hamilton Billiards and now can’t stop thinking about it – so why not get a pool table?
I think that the idea of pool tables and snooker tables not being the most feminine of things comes down to the place where we find these tables the most – dark, grimy pubs where the floors are most often sticky (not naming any places!). Unfortunately, that’s how many experience the sport but don’t let that put you off.

The Benefits of Pool
Honestly, pool is one of my favourite sports to play with friends and family on a night out. You can play while having a conversation and enjoying a drink. It’s not the type of sport where you’ll lose your breath or sweat intensively. It’s a fun sport that offers some friendly competition amongst friends – it’s great!
“Playing cue sports will help build focus, improve concentration, increase hand-and-eye coordination, and improve other skills that both adults and kids need, including improving cognitive skills, problem-solving skills and thinking creatively.” Shares Twin Mummy and Daddy.

Not enough space for a table?
Most people would add a table in their spare room or games room but not everyone is fortunate enough to have extra space. Whether you have been dreaming about a 7ft pool table but don’t have a spare room for it or have simply been wanting a smaller table but aren’t sure where you could fit it – why not go for a pool dining table? As Wood Create mentions, a dining table with a game of pool built in is ideal for those lacking space. These act as dining tables and pool tables in one.

Pool table styles.
Not only do tables come in a variety of sizes, but pool tables are also available in all kinds of styles and designs. As members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, Hamilton Billiards have proved time and time again their craftsmen in renovating and manufacturing custom-made snooker, pool and billiards tables. Choosing a bespoke table might be more of an investment but it will be something unique that will stay in my home for many years to come. Plus, as Simple Parenting says, “ a bespoke pool table will be a one-of-a-kind family heirloom that will be passed down to generations and generations.”
