I Designed a Plus Size Dress with Topsy Curvy – If you follow me on social media you may have seen that last week I was able to FINALLY announce that I have released a dress design with Topsy Curvy – and I love it!
I Designed a Plus Size Dress with Topsy Curvy
I’ve been a massive fan of Topsy Curvy since Jo launched the brand a number of years ago and have often talked about how great it is to have watched them grow into the international brand they are today. Their skater dresses have been a massive hit – and when you consider they fit right up to a UK size 38 it’s easy to see why. They recently rejigged the design of the dress to incorporate more of a scoop neck for those who want it and I have to say, I’m a big fan!
I have loads of the dresses in my wardrobe so when they approached me and said I could work with them on The Blogger Collection, I was beyond excited. Although plus-size fashion has improved massively over recent years, those above a size 26/28 still often get left behind. Being able to be part of a project with some of my favourite bloggers that also meant those up to a UK size 38 could shop my design was an incredible feeling.

The dress itself has been months in the making with different design ideas being floated around and different colour schemes for all the designs that I wanted to do – and there have been many. However, what I was really keen to do was create a dress that could be worn every day, dressed up if people wanted and something that was cutesy and not easy to get in plus sizes – and here is THE DEBZ DRESS.

Those who know me will know that I absolutely adore raccoons – I met some for the first time last year and it was one of my favourite moments ever. Including them on a dress with some other cute forest creatures made my heart happy and I hope that others like the design just as much.

The dress goes on sale with TOPSY CURVY today alongside these other incredible designs Lucia, Georgina and Kelly.

If you shop the collection I’d love to know which plus size dress you pick up. If you could design a dress, what would you choose?

Love this Topsy Curvy dress it’s such a flattering and fun option for plus-size fashion! I’ve been focusing on my own wellness lately and found this helpful Wegovy price comparison: https://www.islipsurgery.org.uk/wegovy-price-comparison-uk-top-suppliers/. Really useful if anyone else is on a similar journey!
