A first date with someone is always nerve-wracking, especially if you’re online dating and meeting someone for the first time. One of the biggest tips I can give is to wear something you’re comfortable in. It can be tempting to dress very glamorously, however, if you spend the evening worrying about your eyelashes looking perfect of tugging at an uncomfortable dress
you won’t be able to enjoy yourself.
you won’t be able to enjoy yourself.
Skater Dress
Personally, if I was to doing a date Devon singles site and then go out on a date, I would wear a skater dress as that is what I would feel comfortable in. I like the shape that these give my body and I know how all of my most faithful dresses fit, so there will be no last-minute wardrobe dilemma.
If I was signed up to a dating site then I might try and avoid wearing a dress that I was wearing in a photo on my dating profile, but that is probably just personal preference. To be honest, if you are meeting someone from a dating Norfolk website then the chances are they’re just as nervous as you so they probably won’t mind what dress you wear!
Leggings
I personally love leggings and would pretty much always wear them with a skater dress, except if I was going out-out. If I was dating in Cornwall, I know that wear leggings would help me be more confident, because no gush of wind or trip on the pavement is going to leave me flashing my extra-large knickers to the world.
Footwear
There is nothing worse, in my opinion, than wearing uncomfortable shoes on a night out. If you’re going to be sitting and enjoying someone’s company, the last thing you want is to be worrying about your toes pinching or blisters forming. Whatever style of shoe you decide to wear, make it one you’re comfortable in and will be comfortable in for a good few hours.
Accessories
I wouldn’t go over the top with accessories, as you really do want to be comfortable. I might choose a statement necklace that matches my dress or perhaps some nice earrings – a little spritz of some pheromones perfume is also a great idea, especially if you’re a little nervous and keen to give off a good impression on the date.
However, the truth is – if you are dating in Cheshire the person you are meeting is already interested in you, so they don’t really care what you’re wearing. It is nice to make an effort and you’ll definitely feel more confident in something you’re happy with. That said, don’t stress over what you are wearing, because the person is going to like you and if they don’t, that’s okay
too. Just gives you another chance to go on a first date and get to know someone new!

So tell me – what is the best and worst first date you have been on? I have some horror stories, I really must share with you sometime!
