What To Do If I Am Not Being Treated Fairly By The NHS?

There is no denying that the NHS is magnificent and do some awesome things. I certainly have some stories to share on the brilliance they have shown me and my family over recent years. The last 12 months have certainly shown us how invaluable the NHS is and how lucky we are in the UK to have such healthcare arrangements. However, as much as each individual person that works for the NHS is undoubtedly brilliant, sometimes patients are let down and that is something that shouldn’t happen.

Being Let Down By The NHS

If you feel that you have been the victim of clinical negligence, or have been injured and then let down by the NHS is anyway, that you are entitled to have this fully investigated. Depending on the circumstances you may be entitled to compensation. It may even be a sad scenario where a relative has died and you feel that the NHS did not do the right thing to save them.

If you feel that you have a case of clinical negligence, you can of course approach the NHS yourself and discuss with them what happened and what they intend to do in order to put it right. However, often the circumstance is much more serious and it is worth looking for legal representation.
