Using The Internet To Bag a Bargain

I’m not going to lie, I love a bargain. I really love knowing that I have got something for a cut price or that I have managed to save some money somewhere. In fact when it comes to saving money I constantly use the internet to my advantage – looking for everything from cheap TV and internet packages to how to save money on a night out. I often share money saving tips, use voucher codes and buy from cut-price websites – purely so I can save myself a bit more cash, which of course I use to fill my already ample wardrobe. I Have Sinned: Money Saving Monday

Money Saving Monday – Last week I blogged about a July spending ban that some of us were undertaking and I was all set to have a month of no spending on clothing… and then Blackpool happened! At the weekend I went to Blackpool for a night (more about that in another post) and so took one dress with me for the Friday night! Saturday morning I was persuaded (by my parents of all people) to stay another night and go out with them to see a show! So… I had nothing to wear!!

Not So Joyful July: Another Spending Ban

Thanks to an amazing ASOS sale and some lovely dresses from Yours Clothing I managed to buy quite a few new items in June… Some of the items I haven’t even worn yet! When Abi suggested on Facebook that others join in with her July spending ban I thought I would join in too! 


Some of these dresses (and many more) are just to beautiful not to be worn again!




I have so many pretty dresses and outfits that don’t get enough wear and I am too easily tempted by colourful patterns and bargain dresses. So I thought I would join in and use July to have a big summer clear out of the clothes that I have. I am sure I have dresses that haven’t been worn in a year or so, so I’ll be deciding what to do with those.




So… Every Monday (or at least a couple of times this month) I’ll be posting a #MoneySavingMonday post about what I have worn that week, what clothes I have sorted out and what gems I have forgotten about and re-fallen back in love with – which I know we’ll all do!

OCMZ – If Money Wasn’t An Issue

This time it was my turn to choose the theme for the Outside My Comfort Zone post – how exciting! I decided to choose “Wishes – We all have places we would love to shop but can’t afford to. I would love to see your wishlist of clothes you would buy if money were no object!”

I am constantly window shopping and browsing websites I wish I could afford to shop at, so I thought I would have a look and see if everyone was just as nosey as me!

Domino Dollhouse

My first choice, without a doubt, has to be Domino Dollhouse. Domino Dollhouse are an American clothing website and their stuff is amazing! I could probably just about stretch to shopping with them if there wasn’t a risk of being billed massive amounts for trying to get the stuff into the country… so frustrating because they are beautiful!

 

Silly Old Sea Dog

A few weeks ago I discovered Silly Old Sea Dog when they launched their plus size range and WOW. If you are someone that has been lacking unique, vintage dresses in your life then you need these! They do up to a size 28 at the moment but are keen to extend this if the need is there! Look how pretty these dresses are!

Syreeta Badu

I have lusted over Syreeta Badu dresses for ages now, but when I saw them at a fashion show last year I fell in love. You can see that the dresses are all well made and and they offer so much in the way of fashion-forward items. They’re definitely on my ‘will buy when I have lots of spare money’ list!

So there you have, just a little snap shot into items I would buy if I were richer! Of course, there are loads more but these are some of my faves for sure!
