Planning the Perfect Wedding

January 15, 2019 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

When it comes to planning a
wedding, there are probably hundreds of of magazines, blog posts and guides you
can read that will tell you how to have the perfect day. However, as handy as
these guides are – who really can say what is perfect?
The truth is that there is always a  big build up to a
wedding, with worry about everything running smoothly and going to plan. This
is fine, but I imagine that sometimes the worry of this can spoil the lead up
to the big day and in some cases the day itself. The truth is that there is no
real set list of what makes a wedding perfect. We’re all different, have
different tastes, needs and budgets. If I were planning a wedding, I think the
most important thing would be staying true to myself and ensuring that whatever
I do plan, I am doing it because I want to and not because I think it is what
is expected or what I think my guests will like.
Planning What You Want
Whatever you plan, your guests just want you to be happy and enjoy
your day. So, make sure you plan what you want to do and stick to it. That
being said, there is nothing wrong with reading up on some wedding inspiration
and getting ideas on what you would like for your big day. You can even Google
ideas around what you would like and really plan something special.
For example, I am a massive fan of photos – I don’t think you can
take to many! So something like a wedding photo swap would be
perfect. There are loads of ways that you can get photos involved in your
wedding – for example I would almost definitely have a photo booth with some
fun props! These are great ice-breakers to help get everyone chatting together
and you’ll be left with some fun photos and amazing memories to look back on.
Get Inspired
The internet is a hive of wedding inspiration, so you can
definitely take something away from these. I think, for me, the important thing
would be to not copy items exact – because whatever type of wedding I would
have, I want it to be unique.
Don’t forget as well, there are many different types of ceremony
you can have, even if the big white wedding idea isn’t for you. You can also
use some wedding ideas of other parties and special occasions. Want a photo
booth for your 40th birthday? Favours for the table when you turn
30? Guest book at your 21st? Why not!
Just remember that whatever type of celebration you are arranging,
it is for you and all about you. So plan something fun, but make sure it is
something that you want and you’ll enjoy. Plan it and then get on with enjoying
it, because if we’re all honest with ourselves – that is the most important
part!
What are your must haves for a wedding or party?

Taurus Men In Love and Relationships: 5 Signs Your Taurus Man Is In Love With You

January 1, 2019 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

So you’ve got yourself a Taurus man. You have been dating for a
while. You want to say those three precious little words, but a nagging
question fills your mind…Is he in love with you? You would hate to put your
heart on the line just to find that he does not reciprocate your feelings. Read
on to see if he is really in love or just lust. Learn more about Taurus men
traits here.

1. His
Touch
Does he reach for your hand? Does he place
his hand lightly on the small of your back? Does he manage to catch your eye
when you are in a crowded room? Does he bump his hand against yours inviting
you to wrap your fingers in his? These are just a few of the physical signs
that your Taurus man is in love with you.
Taurus men are subtly passionate. He will
have a smile that is only for you and will find ways to be close to you without
being overwhelming. Your man will find any excuse possible to be close to you.
2. His
Personality
You might never guess it, but most Taurus men start out shy. He will want to
know how interested you are in him. Are you going to commit to him if he
commits to you? As you discover your bond and fondness for one another, he will
open more. He will be more confident in himself and share more intimate details
about his life with you. In return, he will want to know more about your life.
He genuinely cares for you and what happens to you.
Did he introduce himself by fumbling over
his own name? Did he stare at the ground when he first started talking to you?
Did it take him a long time to even ask you out to begin with? Chances are this
is more than just “like” for your man.
Your Taurus man might even be protective of
you. If you have a bad day, he will want to find any way possible to fix it for
you and protect you from future pain. If someone makes a rude comment about
you, even his friends, he will stand up for you. He wants to be your best
friend as well as a lover.

3. His
Lifestyle
Has he introduced you to his friends? What
about his family? Has he asked to meet your family? Has he invited to you over
to his house or apartment? Has he even let you spend the night?
As he falls in love with you, he will open
up all aspects of his life to you. Not only that, but he will want you to share
your life with him. He will ask to meet your friends, your family, and other
people who are important to you. He will also take up some of your hobbies just
because you enjoy them. You might even find that you share some of the same
hobbies which will make hanging out with your man that much more enjoyable.
Can you carry on deep, meaningful
conversations with your man? Does he actually listen to what you say and even
respond with thoughtful comments and discussions? Taurus men genuinely care
what you have to say and value your opinion. Just another sign that he is in
love with you.
4. His
Financial Concerns
Your man is financially
responsible
. He does not carry a lot of credit card debt, and he might even
be a financial advisor or analyst. He has a math-oriented brain and enjoys
working with numbers.
Does he notice that you shop for the best
deal on shopping trips? Does he offer to pay for your dinner? Does he wait for
the best possible deal on something that he really wants?
A Taurus man is not only concerned about
his finances; he is also concerned about yours. He might even compliment you on
your spending and saving habits. If you don’t have good financial habits, he
will probably offer to help you budget your money or offer other financial
advice.
When a Taurus is in love with you, he will
help you work out a plan to become more financially aware. He will probably
even offer to take care of some of your financial issues for you.
5. His
Attention
Does he buy you small gifts? Has he brought
you flowers lately? Does he take you to upscale restaurants for your dates? He might
be in love with you then.
When a Taurus man is in love with you, he
will give you his undivided attention. He will want to spend all of his time
with you. He might even get jealous when you have to spend time with other
people that does not include him.
Small, thoughtful gifts, as well as some
bigger ones sometimes, are his ways of showing you he cares about you. He might
even keep getting you similar presents because he knows it is something you
like to help you build a collection so when you look at them, you will be
reminded of how much he cares for you.
Lastly, he will pay attention to the people
that matter the most to you. Do you have a relative that you enjoy hanging out
with that might be a little weird, but he manages to find time to spend with
him or her? Does he willingly go to family functions with you? If they matter
to you, they matter to him.
There are many ways for a Taurus man to
show you he loves you. These are just a few. Hopefully when you tell your man
that you love him for the first time he will pull you into his arms, stare deep
into your eyes, and say the words right back to you.

The Importance of Good Relationships

October 29, 2018 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

When we first thing of relationships, we tend to think of
the couple kind. Whatever genders those may be made up of, relationships tend
to be the romantic type that come to our mind first. And that is fine, these
are great and can be a really valid and great part of your life. However, what
I would say is that for me, all sorts of relationships in my life are essential
and make me happy – including friendships and family

Maintain Good Relationships
Whatever type of relationship you are talking about, good
communication is the key to maintaining these. You will probably have seen on
my social media recently that my sister had a baby a few weeks ago and she is magnificent.
However, they live a few hours away so for me the likes of Whatsapp have been
great – we video call, swap photos etc and its been really lovely to get to
know baby Dorothy in this way and I hope it continues. So, if you’re someone
looking for a relationship of the romantic kind, don’t just think that joining
a Derbyshire dating site
is enough, you need to make sure you communicate and stay in touch, this really
will help any relationship flourish and grow.

Finding a Good Relationship

If you want to meet new people, whether romantically or
otherwise – it’s important to meet the right type of people. It is all well and
good browsing things such as dating
sites in Derbyshire
but you need to make sure you find someone on your
wavelength. Enjoying spending time with people you care about is really
important, so its important to invest what you can into making this happen. Of
course you won’t always know straight away that this person can give you what
you want, but spending time getting to know someone and ensuring you get on
well is pretty much essential.

The Importance of Good Relationships

Once you find someone you like spending time with, you’ll
probably want to spend more time with them. Whether this is for senior dating, mates dates or
simply a friend at work you will find yourself spending more time in their
company. That is why it is important that you choose to spend your time with people
who hep you grow rather than holding you back. In general my closest friends
and family are my biggest cheerleaders and supporters and that is something
that I wouldn’t ever want to be without. There is little good being in any type
of relationship where people hold you back or you’re frightened to tell them
about achievements due to fear of upsetting them.
Instead, seek out relationships with people who will be by
your side through thick and thin, supporting you all the way and you really won’t
go far wrong! Of course, it works both ways and you should be sure to cheerlead
for the people in your life too!

Choosing The Right Way To Date

October 24, 2018 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

The Right Way To Date – The world of dating is a funny old thing isn’t it? We all navigate it differently, which is exactly how it should be. In the past I have written (and read) guides on what to do when dating, how to act on dates, where to go on a date etc. And all of these things are great, but if you’re a member of something such as a Bedfordshire dating site, I believe it making sure you use this site in the way you want to and in a way that makes you happy.

Am I Ready To Date?

August 6, 2018 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

I feel like once you start to get older and you remain
single, there becomes a pressure to date. People expect you to want to settle
down and have a family, so when you don’t do this, they can
start to question
why this is.

I haven’t always loved dating and I haven’t always had the
best experiences, so there are times when I just don’t feel like dating at all.
I have always felt happy with this, knowing that my love life (or lack of) is
my decision and mine only. But that doesn’t stop people asking why you’re
single or when you’re going to settle down. I understand, I’m 35 so a “proper
grown-up” but that doesn’t mean that I want to date just for the sake of it.

I have never been one of these people who want to date just
because it means a night out. I know lots of people like getting out of the
house and so an excuse to go for a drink with someone else is a good way to do
this. However, that doesn’t work for me. I only see the point in going on a
first date with someone, where I feel like there will be a chance of a 2nd
date. I know life doesn’t always work like that, but I do try to live by that
if I can.

I always know when I am ready to do and when I need a break,
so I would say that you can listen to your own instinct and do what is right
for you.

When To Start Dating

Whether you have been single for a while or just out of a
relationship, it can be hard to know when to dive into dating again. I would
say there are no set rules, people are ready at time times and move at
different paces. The best thing to do is go in with no expectations, that way
you can just go with the flow and make it something you like – after all, dating
is supposed to be fun!

Remember as well, just because you have decided to join a
dating website doesn’t mean you have to rush out and meet people. There is
nothing wrong with sticking a toe in the water and getting a feel for it before
you dive right in. You might even just chit chat to a few people before you get
a feel for someone that you really want to get out there and meet – and that’s
okay too!

Dating The Right Way

One of the best things about online dating is that you
literally get to decide. For starters, there are different types of dating
websites out there. Want a casual hook up? Fine! Feel like you only want to
date someone really local? No problem! Fancy a sugar daddy? Go for it! Adult dating sites? Go for it! Serious
relationship? You got it! Of course, you do need to take lots of online dating
and what people tell you with a pinch of salt, but there’s definitely great
places to start!

Then of course, when you do sign up you get to choose what
goes on your profile and how much of yourself you put out there. For example if
you decide sex dating sites are the choice for you, you may decide to keep your
profile more vague than if you’re seeking a serious, long term relationship.

When I join traditional dating websites I tend to opt for a
nice selfie and a couple of full length pictures. It’s important to me that
people can see exactly what I look like and that they are happy with that. I
have a few paragraphs about what I am looking for, my body and my expectations.
That way, everyone knows where they stand and there should be no nasty surprises.
Of course, that isn’t always the case so every time I meet someone I tend
precautions to ensure I am safe. Always meet in a public place and let someone
know where you are going.

Don’t go anywhere private with someone until you feel
comfortable and it is always okay to go home if you don’t feel safe. Make your
own way home and if they insist that you stay, remind yourself you are well
within your rights to leave.

Whenever you date, whoever you date, however you date – have
fun!

An Overview of Online Dating

July 19, 2018 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

Dating is a funny old game isn’t it? I often wonder what
dating was like before the days of social media, as a majority of my dating
life started online! I imagine the days of dating before we could text someone
as soon as a date has ended and view their Facebook to see if they’re active
and spend time second guessing how they’re feeling and what their thoughts are!

Do You Like Dating?

I have a love/hate relationship with dating and definitely go
through stages where I like it more than others. I think sometimes if you have
been dating people for a while you sometimes need a break from it, especially if
those dates tend not to materialise to anything. And having a break is okay,
you have to do what is best to look after yourself and meet your own needs.
When you’re ready you can jump back in, or dip a toe back in as much or as
little as you like.
I tend to go all or nothing, especially when it comes to
dating online. I just watch a website to match
me happy
, is that really too much to ask? However, mostly when I am in the
right frame of mind I enjoy dating, meeting new people and going new places –
after all, it passes the time. I try to do low key dates so there is not too
much pressure and I don’t feel too left down if something doesn’t work out.

Taking the Plunge

If you haven’t online dated before then I understand it can
be a scary concept, but mostly there is nothing to worry about. I would suggest
starting with free dating websites as
these mean you don’t have to part with any money – and there are plenty of
sites to try! That said, I never pay for dating websites because I am tight, so
you can definitely stick with the free ones if that is what you want to do.

One of the biggest decisions to what dating website to
choose. There are so many niche ones out there, but if you’re taking the plunge
for the first time I would suggest one of the more general ones. That way, you
can get a feel for whether online dating is for you and how much you like it.
Whether you want to use a website or an app is again a personal decision and
one you may want to play around with a little before you decide. Remember, you
can usually delete dating profiles so if you think a website isn’t for you, don’t
be afraid to do this and try something new.

Meeting New People

Generally, most people would assume men are the first people
to message and in my experience that is often the case. That said, you should absolutely
message someone first if you like the look of them and their profile – what do
you have to lose? The worst you get back is a “no thanks”, and you can simply
move on.

When you have swapped a few messages with someone, I would
suggest looking at getting out there and meeting someone. Online can be very
different, so going for a drink soon is my recommendation. This doesn’t have to
be a full on date or anything with lots of pressure but just the chance to
spend some time together.

Overcoming Nerves

I will be honest and say there is literally no quick fix for
this  – you’re meeting someone new,
nerves are naturally! That said, remind yourself  – what’s the worst that can happen? You’re
allowed to leave at anytime, so if a date really is that awful – leave. I know
it can be an awkward thing to leave but I have done it and so can you! Other
than that, it’s just a few slightly awkward hours and then you can go home!

Wear something you feel comfy in, set off in plenty of time
so you aren’t rushing and panicking and tell them you have plans after so you
can’t stay long are my 3 top tips. That way, you can leave when you need to but
also extend it if you’re having a great time.

Most importantly remember dating is meant to be fun – so get
out there, enjoy it and have a good time. If one date doesn’t work out there
are whole dating websites full of people for you to meet, so why not get out
there and try again?

July 18, 2018 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

Wedding Planning Should Be A Breeze – To some lucky people out there, planning a wedding is going to be like a walk in the park.
