3 Things that Will Take Your Living Room to the Next Level

June 19, 2020 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

Take Your Living Room to the Next Level – Your living room is one of the most essential rooms in your home. It is where you and your family and friends hang out regularly and where you can curl up on the sofa to enjoy your favourite TV shows. Because it sees so much more traffic on average than any other room in your house, you want to make sure that it is as comfortable as possible. It should also be designed to
your personal taste so that you actually enjoy spending time there.

Tips For Dating During Lockdown

June 12, 2020 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

Tips For Dating  – Although we’re starting to see an ease in restrictions, it is still against guidelines to go out and meet new people. Gone are the days (hopefully just for now!) where people can meet up in the pub for a few drinks or pop to the cinema to watch a film. This means that dating can be tough, even in a relationship we’re running out of things to do and countryside we can walk
in! However, tough doesn’t need to mean no dating at all, it just means that you need to be savvier! Here are some tips for dating during lockdown.

Love During Lockdown

June 11, 2020 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

We’re hopefully starting to come out of lockdown now and I’m looking forward to life starting to get back to normal – or the new normal that we can all look forward to at least. I think it is important to recognise that since the UK went into lockdown in March, life has been very different for most of us.
Meeting New People
One of the biggest changes that lockdown bought about was the ability to meet new people. Whether you’re just someone sociable, you’re dating or you’re signed up to something like a Hampshire sex site, the ability to do any of these things in real life was taken away from us all.
If you are someone that is dabbling in any type of online dating or even yorkshiresexsite.co.uk, then you’ll  probably have gotten a little inventive over the past few weeks, as all of your
talking to people has moved online.
Thankfully, there are lots of apps and ways to chat and get to know people online. So, if we can adapt to this new way of communicating we can still get to know new people!
Being Lonely
Of course, you have the other side of this. People are in relationships with partners that they have been unable to see. I have lived with my partner for over a year now, but before that we did long distance between Hampshire and Birmingham. I was just thinking the other day how different things would have been if we were still long distancing and how I would have been unable to see him for weeks. I imagine that there are lots of people in similar positions to this currently and it is something that I really empathise with!
Being With Someone Too Much
Then you have a completely different perspective. People who are used to living busy lives and having space from the other people in their homes are suddenly forced to spend lots of
time with them. There is nothing wrong with this, the chances are you love the people you’re with but it is a big shift in routine and something that we should all give consideration to.
The New Normal
I think coming out of lockdown will give us all a different appreciation for love, time and those around us. It is such a small thing, but I miss going to Wetherspoons on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with my boyfriend. We didn’t even do it all the time, but it was something that we loved doing & haven’t been able to do for ages. Of course, the fact that my family are 5 hours away
and I haven’t seen them since before Christmas is a big deal too! I hope that this will give us all a new appreciation of the people around us.
So, whether it’s meeting new people, missing loved ones or spending more time with the people we care about – lockdown has changed lots of things! What things has it changed for you & what things are you looking forward to getting back to normal with?

Electric Cars – More Affordable Than You Might Think!

June 3, 2020 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

I don’t pretend to know much more about cars other than their colour. My boyfriend is currently taking his car to pieces in order to change the engine and I have to admit not knowing anything about any of it! I started to learn to drive before lockdown & hoping to start picking that up again soon, keep your fingers crossed for me! As I will hopefully soon be buying a car, I have started to look at what sort of cars might be available. [Read more…]

Scrapbooking – A Great Hobby!

May 27, 2020 by Debz Louise Leave a Comment

If you’ve found yourself with a little more spare time than normal, then you might be thinking about what sort of craft hobbies you can take up. As a teenager I loved keeping diaries and scrapbooks and would love to dabble in this once again. I think bullet journals and scrapbooks are a really fun way to document what is happening and pass some time, so definitely worth considering if you’re looking for something new to
do!
